Once deployed, an ePOD solution becomes a ‘mission critical’ component of an organisation’s IT and operational infrastructure; with the up-time and service level of both the system and the in-vehicle hardware being of prime importance.

VSc understand the importance of ensuring exceptional levels of PDA hardware support.

All implementations are provided with a PDA and (where applicable) Printer maintenance regime for the life of the contract.

VSc provides active PDA support using an industry-standard remote management and diagnostic tool which connects to the PDA using GPRS.  This can facilitate comprehensive remote diagnostics of non-operational devices and where appropriate VSc support can manage the swap-out and repair of non-functioning devices (based on an up-front device service plan).

Software upgrades and parameter settings can all be managed remotely using the same diagnostics tool.
